I did see an amazing sight around 7 years ago (I’m guessing that time) as I was driving on a Sierra Nevada foothills highway one night as I was approaching the county border. Leaving Nevada County and Yuba County ahead of me (In California). I was not aware of any known or expected sights occurring. So,… as I drove through the valley between two peaks, the sky suddenly demanded me to look when a multiple shades of brilliant & glowing green, streaked through the black sky. The glowing green light came from way above, and as it fell towards me, I had never seen that brilliance, or color following behind anything falling from above. Even more remarkable was that I could have likely been able to hike to that spot where it had made contact with earth, shockingly close. I was stunned by how beautiful it was and the amazing thing was that I was able to see it all the way till it disappeared behind the trees. Only a few thousand yards from where I was. I won’t say the various possibilities I was wondering as to what I had seen. Haha. But it was fear coming from my lack of knowledge that prevented me from pursuing that site and exploring.
